Drawing and Writing on a Chalkboard like a pro

I wouldn’t say I’m horrible but in NO MEANS am I good at writing or drawing on chalkboards. Valerie McKeehan created an amazing book called “The Complete Book of Chalk Lettering” to help create your own style of chalk lettering. It also includes diagrams and instructions on how to draw frames, snowflakes etc. With three foldout chalkboards you can have endless fun practicing letters, banners, flourishes, embellishments and frames without even leaving the book. DIY Upholstered Headboard

Ariella’s bedroom is finally being decorated after we moved in the beginning of August. In our previous home she would ask every person that stepped into our home if they wanted to see her room. What you need to create this centrepiece -Pumpkins -Kale plants -Ivy (which was used around the kale) -Succulents -Soil -Milk glass or other vases to place plants in Now heres to hoping I can keep it alive until after halloween!

Last Summer my son turned 1 and the party was featured on Style Me Pretty (pinch me…that was exciting!). Now that I have my own blog I also wanted to share it here. So many amazing companies were involved and I can’t believe it….he’s turning 2 this August! How does it happen so fast! (I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on for his party this year! Hint….shapes) If your looking at the beautiful “1” balloon and notice it’s backwards! Well….it can’t all be perfect right? I took these images before the guests started to arrive and the first…
