Foyer – Arrow & Lace Home

Recently I ordered a book called “Design Mom” which is a room to room guide on how to live with kids. In just the short amount of time I have had with the book (4 days) I have gone through it twice. So many great ideas and also many wonderful reminders when planning a space. We recently sold our home and are currently building. No it’s not a “Dream home” but I’m still so excited to be able to pick up some of the options and put my touch on it. Being on a “budget” isn’t fun but it does make it a lot easier to pick details because well….there isn’t many options 😉 What furniture and decor you choose will really make the space. Wall color will be either Benjamin Moore “Simply White” or “Silver Drop”. Our front entrance is a split level entry and will not be the main entry for us as a family. So I can make it pretty and welcoming for our guests! There isn’t much space so I picked just a couple small pieces to set the tone for the rest of our home. A simple/neutral pallet will give me more options on adding color during the year. A simple arrangement of flowers on the console table and/or a new pillow on the bench seat can give the area a whole new look.

Can we talk about the chandelier for a moment? It’s white, simple and detailed all in one. It also comes in a few different sizes in case you have another area it would match. The woven basket is perfect for umbrella’s and possibly items your guests forget the last time they visited. Hope you enjoy my inspiration for our foyer. A few of my favourite websites to find furniture and decor is Joss & Main, Wayfair, Overstock, Chapters & Target.
